Dublin: GPO, Christ Church Cathedral & The Brazen Head

After visiting the Dublin Zoo, we decided to check out the new GPO attraction. It highlights the 1916 Irish Rebellion and the events that took place during that time.

Dublin Zoo

Like I promised, here’s the continuation of my Dublin adventures!

After visiting Trinity College, we scooted over to the Dublin Zoo. I’m primarily against the institutionalization of animals, but the Dublin Zoo is renowned for its conservation efforts.

The African Savannah exhibit has a wide open space with giraffes, ostrich, zebras and elephants enclosed as they would be in nature.

All animals are fed their natural prey and are encouraged to display their innate predatory or prey instinct.

Onwards to more sightseeing in Dublin! 😄 Eric and I had purchased the Dublin Pass earlier in the year when they had a discount package.

Finally decided to pick the passes up and make the most of the attractions! We decided to stop at Trinity College first.

Hello everyone! I’m back with another blog post!

Woke up at 3am and checked in online, starting flying at 6:45am and finally landed in Dublin at 4am our time. It really messed me up as we arrived at 7am their time. I really needed to nap before heading out!

4cats Mug Session

Back again with a small blog post!

On September 9th, I had registered for a mug session with 4cats in Oak Bay.

It took place from 7-8:30pm and consisted of cutting and molding clay, constructing the mug, as well as painting the finished product. Our instructor put it in the kiln and put a transparent glaze over the piece and we got to pick it up a few weeks later!

Beacon Hill Park Children’s Farm 🚜

Since 1985, the Koenders family farm has run the Children’s Farm on Beacon Hill in order to educate children and families and provide some local entertainment!

Obviously, my love for animals was calling out so I obliged.
